Frank Gruber

OperalogoTo compete with the free web browser offerings of , and the soon to be released social browser , has decided to start offering all version of it's Opera browser free of charge. Previously, they offered two versions, a free version with advertisements and a pay version without ads. Now they have just one version and you can get it for free by going here. I wonder how they are going to compensate their current paying customers? Also check out this wonderful browser comparison chart on Wikipedia.

I think it is smart of them to release it free. You can just go to serialz.to to get a serial number anyway. It is a pretty good browser. I still like FF better but I have had opera for a long time. I test in as many browsers as possible.
