I wrote about the Google Publication Ad project previously (November 11, 2005) in this post on Somewhat Frank. In the post I mentioned an undisclosed Chicago newspaper was working with Google as their guinea pig. The cat (or should I say guinea pig) is now out of the bag as the Chicago Sun-Times displayed its first Google Publication Ads in print in the right rail of the sports section on December 9th. Crain’s Chicago Business has an article further explaining the project at the Sun-Times. I am curious to see how the project goes and what other publishers jump on board.
