Congdon Boomed From Rocketboom

Amanda Congdon has been relieved of her duties as the host of the extremely popular video blog RocketBoom. For course everyone is wondering - what happened? Apparently, there was a disagreement between Amanda and majority shareholder Andrew Baron. Did they disagree on the usage of the map background on RocketBoom? Was Amanda just getting too cool for school? Or juicier, was there a crazy sex sandal?  Who knows. I am sure the show, RocketBoom, will go on in a week or so with a new host.

In traveling to Syndicate in May, an event that Amanda Congdon keynoted, I listened to a Gilmore Gang podcast which had Amanda on as a guest with the rest of the gang. When asked about her future with the show Mike Arrington of TechCrunch called Amanda out on her response saying that when people reply the way Amanda did they usually are on the way out. Oh the irony.
