With the recent release of Google Earth it was only a matter of time until we heard from one of Google's competitors. MSN Virtual Earth was announced on May 23rd at the D3 conference by Bill Gates himself. Apparently it stole some of the thunder away from a presentation by Apple's Steve Jobs which informed everyone of Apple unleashing podCasting in iTunes.
