30 Boxes an online calendar with a social networking twist created by 83 degrees launched today but due to the overwhelming response it grew out of its bandwidth, whoa nelly! They were limiting registrants for a short time but I was lucky enough to get an account without any problem.
Why such an overwhelming response? 30 Boxes connects peoples schedule online thus allowing you to keep track of all your calendar information as well as other buddies that you add to your profile. So for example, if you were in a family of four and trying to coordinate schedules each member could set up an account and they would overlay the other members' calendar on 30 Boxes. If you want to keep certain items out of site from your buddies the application also allows a privacy option on the item level.
30 Boxes has many features one of which includes syncing up with Flickr in an area for 'web stuff'. So in essence, if you sync up Flickr and add a buddy to your 30 Boxes profile and they have also synced up their Flickr account you should be able to see their Flickr images if you click on their profile. Paul Stamatiou does a great job detailing all the specific features so check his post out before you give 30 Boxes a try.
