Business 2.0 wrote an article recently (March 1, 2006) highlighting 25 hot startup companies. Om Malik, an avid blogger, podcaster and senior writer for Business 2.0 co-authored the piece and offered some images on his blog of the people behind these 25 hot startups from a meetup or roundtable held yesterday (March 2, 2006) in San Francisco. The images were not included in the original article on CNNMoney.com so they are worth checking out. Jeremy Zawodny also attended the next net 25 roundtable and gives his perspective.
I found this article to be a good high-level look at some of the hottest startups. I have posted about several of previously on Somewhat Frank. I am happy to see these startup companies getting some mainstream media exposure. Visit this slide-show which handpicks one or two companies in each competitive space.
