WHORYOU, a sister project to the soon to launch Weekendr the plan sharing site, was created to give your online communications a face. WHORYOU is a service that let you upload a Buddy Image for an email address. When visitors of WHORYOU enter your email address they can see your image that has been uploaded. So in a way it is a search engine for linking an email address with a face.
In entering an email address into the main text field on WHORYOU you are given the option to search or to add the email address. If you choose to add the email address you can upload your own photo. This will enable others to search on your email address and find your profile. Other members can then contact you if you opt-in to the feature.
I think WHORYOU is a simple yet useful service. If WHORYOU grows its email data large enough and added a few key fields to its profiles (i.e. first and last name) it could be a great way to put a name with a face online as well - as long as it doesn't turn into WhoreYOU.
