Women looking for a place to find interesting content recommendations should look no further than Sk*rt. Sk*rt
offers a social news site of "pure goodness" which is geared towards
topics and interests that women might like. The platform which could be
deemed a Digg-clone offers content discovery via social recommendations.
Interestingly, Sk*rt was created over a conference call during the 2007 Super Bowl by three women as a place to find content that was interesting to them. With classic Web 2.0 features like RSS content feeds, a bookmarklet for bookmarking items, a content tag cloud, a product blog and a Facebook group, Sk*rt offers a number of ways to connect and interact with the site.
Jen Consalvo recently reviewed Sk*rt and provides a more thoroughly analysis of Sk*rt. Also you can stay up to speed with the latest Sk*rt developments on the Sk*rt blog.
