Typepad, the popular hosted blog platform by Six Apart, has announced a new iPhone optimized interface. Typepad users can now visit http://i.typepad.com on an iPhone or the new iPod Touch in their Safari Web browser use an optimized version of Typepad. I tested it out with a brief video demo.
With the new touch interface blogging, editing comments and managing can be done with larger iPhone optimized controls. Somewhat Frank is hosted by Typepad and this should make blogging on the go a lot easier. Thus
using TypePad on your iPhone enables you to create posts on any of your
blogs from wherever you are over Wi-Fi or EDGE.
Check out this quick video demo (shown below) which takes a first look at the new Typepad iPhone interface. I actually used it to publish this post. TechCrunch also offers its take on the new Typepad iPhone interface.
