Coming off the recent purchase of Quigo, AOL has acquired Yedda according to Haaretz.com and paidContent. Yedda is an Israeli community-driven answers site that I previously reviewed on Somewhat Frank.
Yedda puts a solid Q & A technology in the hands of AOL as it looks to take on sites like Yahoo Answers and Google Q&A. The obvious goal is to take Yedda and offer it up to AOL's millions of users with hopes it will become one of the biggest information sites
in the world. Congrats to Yedda founders Avichay Nissenbaum and Yaniv Golan.
