I seem to have too many books in my reading queue and not enough time to read them all. However, you might be on the other side of the fence with this one and looking for new books to read. 22books might be a place to look as it offers users a place to create, find and share book lists.
22books was created by James Avery when author Kurt Vonnegut passed away and he wanted to find additional books written by his favorite writer. The primary goal of 22books is to collect book lists and it is no irony that Kurt Vonnegut wrote exactly 22 books himself.
I created a quick list of some of my favorite books. I like the idea of sharing book lists but felt 22books was missing viral social hooks and recommnedations when the Visual Bookshelf Suite Facebook application, created by DC-based Hungry Machine has over 700,000 users and offers a similar list making functionality but taps into your friends reading interests to offer social recommendations. However, it appears 22books has additional social and sharing features on its development roadmap - stay tuned to the progress via the 22books blog.
