With the Super Bowl today and my beloved Chicago Bears not in it this year I am unsure who I will be pulling for just yet. But I am sure I will probably be paying more attention to commercials. As I watch the expensive television time slots I will be rating them online with two products (two separate personal friends of mine created).
First, Thummit, the DC-based startup that I previously highlighted, has been working on special event rating systems as they took full advantage of its Washington, DC location during the recent 2009 Presidential Inauguration to rate the Inauguration events. Today, with the Super Bowl Thummit enables you to rate the 2009 Super Bowl Commercials.
Secondly, SocialToo, a suite of productivity solutions for Twitter and other social networks, has created a survey that leverages Twitter called Twitter Bowl 2009. Brian Solis explains the backstory of the Twitter Bowl if you are wondering. The application aggregates Twitter messages to bring the conversations from the big game together in one place to find out your thoughts on your favorite Super Bowl TV ads.
If you miss any of the Super Bowl commercials, Fanhouse is also tracking the Super Bowl Commercials for you so you can watch them online over and over. Be sure to join the Super Bowl conversation, rate your favorite commercials and enjoy the football game!
