As I travel from place to place I occasionally visit different companies that have interesting or unique office spaces. Check out my past Office Visit Videos. I visited the Chicago Threadless.com office last February so when I visited Boulder, Colorado this past week I stopped into the new Threadless.com office to see just how the t-shirt giant was settling in. I talked with Threadless Founder Jake Nickell and Chief Creative Officer Jeffrey Kalmikoff along with a few other of their officemates at their new Threadless.com skinnyCorp Boulder office. I shared my office visit experience as episode 63 on SOMEWHAT FRANK.

5 Startups Demo at TECH cocktail Boulder

On a clear, crisp evening in Boulder, Colorado over two hundred technology enthusiasts piled into The Foundry Billiards Club to better connect and amplify the technology signal of the region. The event, TECH cocktail Boulder in partnership with DEMO, showcased five startups from the local area. The event was sponsored by Boulder-based Lijit and Chicago and potentially soon to be also Boulder-based skinnyCorp - thank you both!

Since TECH cocktail is one of my own creations with co-founder Eric Olson, we were really enjoyed the evening getting to hangout with some of the technology "movers and shakers" in the Denver/Boulder area. Photo of the Week: I visited the skinnyCorp office with TECH cocktail co-founder Eric Olson this past week and snapped this photo of the their workspace. Those threadless folks are pretty rad! The space kind of reminded me of a cross between Pee Wee's Playhouse, without the talking chair of course, and MAKE Magazine.

If you are a hip t-shirt junkie you probably have found something on community driven t-shirt site threadless created by Chicago-based skinnyCorp. skinnyCorp offers some great community driven websites which include:

threadless is a popular t-shirt design community driven e-commerce site.

Naked & Angry is a high quality clothing from fabric patterns submitted and chosen by the brand’s audience.

Extra Tasty is a community driven drink recipe site.

Yay Hooray is an 'old-school' forum used to help skinnyCorp learn how to make community-driven sites on the Web.

They have also have a few others. I visited the Chicago-based skinnyCorp headquarters this past week and captured some of it on video.
